There are many different styles of hearing aids, from discreet to large and easy to handle. Choosing the right hearing aid for you will depend on your lifestyle, and degree of hearing loss. We will work side by side with you to make sure the right decision is made for you.

Open Fit/Receiver In The Canal
(rechargeable/Battery operated)
- For a mild to moderately severe hearing loss
- Very slender sleek design barely visible when worn
- Comfort
- Leaves the ear feeling “open” and unplugged
- Results in a more “natural” sound
Invisible In The Canal (IIC) / Complety In The Canal (CIC) Rechargeable/Battery Operated
- For mild to moderate hearing loss
- Very discreet (close to invisible) it sits deep into the ear canal
- Cuts down on “wind noise” due to its placement in the ear
- Custom made
In-The-Canal (ITC)
- For mild to moderately severe hearing loss
- Slightly bigger than the CIC
- Fits in the ear canal
- Custom made, available in many technology levels that previously required a larger device
In-The-Ear (ITE)
- For mild to severe hearing loss
- Fits in the external ear
- Largest custom product, easy to handle and can be inserted with ease
Behind the Ear Hearing Aids (BTE)
- Suitable for all degrees of hearing loss
- Best choice if you suffer from chronic ear infections or wax issues
- Typically BTE’s have more power than custom products
- The hearing device is worn behind the ear with a custom earpiece molded to fit the ear canal
Cros/BiCros
- Suitable for people with one-sided hearing loss or single sided deafness
- Uses the lastest hearing aid technology to transmit sound from the ear with virtually no hearing to the ear with the better hearing
